1. Preparation work
Before starting the spiral stack sludge dewatering machine, the operator needs to carry out a series of preparations to ensure the smooth start-up and efficient operation of the equipment. First, check whether the various components of the equipment are installed correctly and without looseness to ensure the stability and safety of the equipment. At the same time, clean the environment around the equipment to ensure that there are no obstacles affecting the operation of the equipment.
Next, check whether there is any debris in the mixing tank, whether the filter body has discharged the sludge, and whether there is mud at the head of the spiral shaft. These checks can ensure that the equipment will not fail due to debris or residual sludge after startup.
 

2. Preparation of reagents
The spiral stack sludge dewatering machine needs to use flocculants during operation. Therefore, before starting the machine, it is necessary to add an appropriate amount of flocculant powder to the PAM preparation system and turn on the stirring device to fully dissolve and mix the reagents evenly. This step is crucial to improving the dewatering effect of sludge.
 

3. Equipment startup
Before starting the equipment, make sure that the water outlet valve is open to ensure smooth water outlet. Then, start the main drive motor and check whether its rotation direction is correct. If the rotation direction is incorrect, stop the machine immediately and adjust the motor wiring to avoid equipment damage.
After ensuring that the motor rotates in the correct direction, start the flocculant supply pump, mud feed pump and flocculation stirring motor in turn. At this time, the operator should pay close attention to the operation of the equipment, observe the temperature changes of components such as the motor and bearings, and whether there are abnormal sounds or vibrations. If there are any abnormalities, stop the machine immediately to check and troubleshoot.
 

4. Adjust parameters
During the operation of the equipment, the operator needs to adjust parameters such as the mud feed volume, screw shaft speed and back pressure plate spacing according to the actual situation to achieve the best treatment volume and moisture content. This step requires the operator to have certain professional knowledge and experience to ensure the efficient operation of the equipment and the best dehydration effect of the sludge.
At the same time, the operator also needs to observe whether the moisture content of the mud discharged from the front end of the spiral stacker is ideal. If it is not ideal, it can be adjusted by adjusting the mud pressing plate and the spindle motor inverter. However, it should be noted that the moisture content should not be excessively pursued, otherwise it may lead to adverse consequences such as motor overload and increased equipment wear.
 

5. Operation monitoring
During the operation of the equipment, the operator needs to continuously monitor the operation of the equipment, including the temperature of the motor, the vibration of the bearing, the stability of the mud level in the mixing tank, etc. At the same time, it is also necessary to check whether the rotation of the spiral shaft is normal, whether the rotating parts are operating normally, and whether there are abnormal conditions such as abnormal noise. If there is any abnormality, the machine should be stopped immediately and a professional person should be notified for maintenance.
