Types of Anaerobic System

The anaerobic system produced by our company mainly include the following types:
IC High Efficiency Anaerobic Digester
The internal circulation anaerobic digester is composed of two reaction chambers with different dynamic processes, which is equivalent to two UASBs superimposed. The lifting effect of the biogas is collected by the lower gas collecting hood, and the biogas and wastewater are lifted to the gas-liquid separator through the lifting pipe for gas-water separation.

Advantages of IC High Efficiency Anaerobic Digester

Enhanced Biogas Production and Methane Content
●Increased Breakdown Rate: The internal circulation system in an IC high efficiency anaerobic digester ensures thorough mixing and enhanced contact between the wastewater and the active microbial communities, leading to a faster and more complete breakdown of organic matter.

●Higher Methane Concentration: This efficient digestion process results in a higher proportion of methane in the produced biogas, making it a more potent and valuable renewable energy source.

●Increased Biogas Yields: The enhanced efficiency translates to higher overall biogas yields compared to conventional digesters.

Superior COD Removal and Effluent Quality
●High COD Removal Efficiency: IC high efficiency anaerobic digesters achieve impressive Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) removal rates, often exceeding 90% even with highly polluted wastewater.

●Stable Effluent Quality: The two-stage anaerobic treatment and efficient mixing help ensure consistent and stable effluent quality, meeting environmental discharge standards.

●Effective Pollutant Removal: The anaerobic digestion process effectively breaks down organic pollutants, converting them into biogas and a stabilized effluent.

Increased Process Stability and Robustness
●Resistance to Shock Loads: The internal circulation flow can be significantly higher than the inflow, effectively diluting harmful substances and enabling the reactor to handle fluctuations in flow and pollutant loads, such as variations in feedstock composition or sudden influxes of wastewater, without compromising the digestion process.

●Stable Microbial Ecosystem: Continuous recirculation maintains a consistent environment within the reactor, promoting a more stable and resilient microbial community.

●PH Buffering: The recirculation mechanism helps in buffering pH levels, ensuring optimal conditions for microbial activity and uninterrupted digestion.

Reduced Footprint and Operational Costs
●Compact Design: IC high efficiency anaerobic digesters have a smaller footprint compared to traditional anaerobic systems, making them ideal for sites with limited space.

●Lower Energy Consumption: The internal circulation relies on the self-generated biogas for mixing, eliminating the need for external mixing equipment and significantly reducing energy consumption compared to aerobic systems that require continuous aeration.

●Reduced Sludge Production: Optimized organic matter conversion results in less residual sludge, leading to lower disposal costs.

Enhanced Sustainability and Environmental Benefits
●Renewable Energy Production: The biogas produced can be utilized for electricity generation or heating, offsetting energy costs and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

●Reduced Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Capturing methane during the process prevents its release into the atmosphere, mitigating climate change impacts.

●Waste Diversion: IC high efficiency anaerobic digesters divert organic waste from landfills, reducing landfill methane emissions and extending landfill life.

●Resource Recovery: The nutrient-rich digestate can be used as a valuable biofertilizer, reducing the need for chemical fertilizers.

Structural description of IC High Efficiency Anaerobic Digester

Water distribution: Cyclone water distribution, good mass transfer effect;

Reactor height: Generally designed to be 16-20m, with reasonable rising velocity, which is conducive to the sedimentation of granular sludge;

High-load reaction zone: High rising velocity, generally reaching 6-10m, so that the granular sludge is in a fluidized state, removing 70% of the total COD;

Middle-layer three-phase separator: 2 layers, mainly to achieve internal circulation, large internal circulation volume;

Low-load zone: Low rising velocity, further remove COD;

Upper-layer three-phase separator: 3 layers, larger monomers, to achieve separation of sludge, biogas and water;

Gas-liquid separator: 4 sets, which is conducive to biogas separation.

Adaptable pH range: Large internal and external circulation, the raw water PH is 4.5-5.5, no need to adjust PH;

Adaptable temperature range: The temperature is 30-38℃;

FAQ

Q: How long is your delivery time?

A: Generally it is 5-10 days if the goods are in stock. Or it is 35-60 days if the goods are not in stock, it is according to quantity.

Q: Do you provide samples? ls it free or extra?

A: Yes, we could offer the sample, but we need to charger samples fee and freight fees.

Q: What is your terms of payment?

A: Payment<=1000USD,100% in advance.Payment>=1000USD 30% T/T in ADVANCE,70% BANLANCE BEFORE SHIPMENT.

Q: What are the components of anaerobic digester?

A: The anaerobic digestion process is a simple and applied energy source. A simple digester consists of a digestion chamber, a dome, an inlet, an outlet for biogas, and an outlet for slurry. The biogas trapped by the dome flows under pressure through the outlet, where it can be used as an energy source.

Q: What equipment is used in an anaerobic digester?

A: Most anaerobic digesters use heat exchangers (HXs) that transfer heat from hot water to sludge without mixing the liquids. The water is heated with a boiler or combined heat and power (CHP) engine. The latter, also known as cogeneration (cogen), generates renewable electrical power from biogas.

Q: What are the steps of anaerobic digester?

A: It's a Biological Process, and there are 4 stages: Hydrolysis, Acidogenesis, Acetogenesis, Methanogenesis. Hydrolysis - the first step in the conversion of organic material to biogas.

Q: What is the difference between an aerobic and anaerobic digester?

A: In an anaerobic system the majority of the chemical energy contained within the starting material is released by methanogenic bacteria as methane. In an aerobic system, such as composting, the microorganisms access free, gaseous oxygen directly from the surrounding atmosphere.

Q: How to stop foaming in an anaerobic digester?

A: Generally speaking, this can be prevented by removing solids from a digester. generally caused by poor mixing. biogas to escape from solids and surfactants which greatly stabilizes foaming.
