The working principle of air suspension is intuitive and efficient. When the vehicle is loaded heavily or driving on bumpy roads, the system inflates the air bellows to increase air pressure, raise the chassis height and enhance suspension stiffness, effectively reducing road impact and improving vehicle passability. When cruising smoothly on flat roads or at high speeds, it deflates properly to lower the chassis, reduce wind resistance, optimize body stability and lower fuel consumption. In addition, the system can maintain a constant vehicle height regardless of load changes, avoiding body tilt and sagging problems common in traditional suspension systems.

Compared with traditional suspension, air suspension boasts outstanding comprehensive advantages. First of all, it delivers superior riding comfort. The air cushion structure absorbs road vibrations more softly and evenly than metal springs, filtering out most bumps and jolts for a smooth ride for both drivers and passengers. Secondly, it features excellent adaptive adjustability with variable spring rates, which can balance comfort and sports performance dynamically. It supports manual and automatic switching of multiple driving modes to meet the demands of urban commuting, high-speed cruising and off-road driving.

Moreover, air suspension significantly improves driving safety and practicality. The adjustable chassis height enriches vehicle application scenarios: a higher ground clearance facilitates passing through speed bumps, potholes and rough mountain roads, while a lower chassis ensures higher high-speed stability and easier vehicle entry and exit. It also evenly distributes vehicle load, reduces chassis wear and tear, and extends the service life of tires and related chassis parts.

As intelligent vehicle technology evolves, modern air suspension is further upgraded with intelligent linkage functions. It can cooperate with vehicle radar and road condition recognition systems to realize pre-adjustment of suspension status, achieving more proactive and precise chassis control.
