Working Principle
The polymer and sludge are injected into the sludge coagulation mixer through the polymer dosing machine and the sludge feed pump, and then enter the gravity concentration belt through overflow, and are evenly spread on the full width of the filter belt. After passing through the mud-water separation area, they enter the wedge and roller pressure area. Through the filter pressing effect of a series of rollers and filter belt tensioning devices, the sludge is continuously pressurized along the direction of the filter belt until the sludge cake of the dewatering machine falls from the discharge port.

System Function and Processing Flow
1. System function:
A. The main body of the belt filter press is composed of a belt gravity thickener and a belt filter press. In the entire thickening and dehydration system, mud is fed, chemicals are added, mixed, and reacted in sequence. Under steady flow conditions, the pipeline operations such as concentration and dehydration and mud cake output are carried out to remove the water in the sludge.
B. The sludge and flocculant are added to the conditioning tank together, and a good gel feather is formed after appropriate stirring and residence time.
C. The sludge gel feather overflows into the thickening belt by gravity, and through gravity climbing and mud combing devices, the free water separation speed is increased, and the sludge concentration is increased to form a solid mud mass.
D. The sludge mass falls into the gravity dehydration area of the upper filter belt for the second stage of gravity dehydration. At the same time, the sludge distributor is positioned and adjusted to force the sludge mass to be of equal thickness and width.
E. The evenly distributed sludge mass falls by gravity to the gravity dehydration area of the lower filter belt for the third stage of gravity dehydration. At this time, the sludge solid concentration can reach more than 8-10%.
F. The sludge mass begins to enter the initial pressure sludge inlet, and is squeezed and dehydrated in a horizontal wave-shaped motion trajectory from initial pressure → low pressure → medium pressure → high pressure.
G. The mud cake is attached to the filter belt and is guided out, and is peeled off by a scraper and falls into the next stage of treatment.
H. The solid content of the mud cake can reach more than 15-35%.
2. Processing process:
Concentrated sludge → Sludge conditioning and mixing → Mud and water separation gravity concentration → Gravity dehydration → Pre-pressure dehydration → High-pressure dehydration → High-pressure shear dehydration → Mud cake scraping → Subsequent related cleaning and treatment or incineration
