Maintenance is easy to solve as long as you understand the mechanical structure. Clean water centrifugal pumps are simple machines. During maintenance, attention should be paid to using the pump within the rated range, not running it without load, avoiding cavitation and steam binding, strengthening inspections, and replacing worn sealing parts in a timely manner.
(1) Check whether the clean water centrifugal pump pipeline and joints are loose. Turn the clean water centrifugal pump by hand to see if the clean water centrifugal pump is flexible.
(2) Add bearing lubricating oil to the bearing body. Observe that the oil level should be at the center line of the oil mark. The lubricating oil should be replaced or replenished in time.
(3) Unscrew the water inlet screw plug of the clean water centrifugal pump body and pour water.
(4) Close the gate valve and outlet pressure gauge of the water outlet pipeline.
(5) Start the motor and test whether the motor direction is correct.
(6) Start the motor. When the clean water centrifugal pump is running normally, open the outlet pressure gauge and see if it shows appropriate pressure. Then gradually open the gate valve and check the motor load at the same time.
(7) Try to control the flow and head of the clean water centrifugal pump within the range indicated on the nameplate to ensure that the centrifugal pump operates at the highest efficiency point to achieve the greatest energy saving effect.
(8) During the operation of the clean water centrifugal pump, the bearing temperature cannot exceed the ambient temperature of 35℃, and the maximum temperature of the Wuxi welded pipe cannot exceed 80℃.
(9) If the clean water centrifugal pump makes an abnormal sound, it should be stopped immediately to check the cause.
(10) When the clean water centrifugal pump is to be stopped, first close the gate valve and pressure gauge, and then stop the motor.
(11) Within the first month of operation, the lubricating oil of the clean water centrifugal pump should be replaced after 100 hours, and then every 500 hours.
(12) Adjust the packing gland frequently to ensure normal dripping in the packing chamber.
(13) Check the wear of the shaft sleeve regularly, and replace it in time if it is worn out.
(14) When the clean water centrifugal pump is used in the cold winter season, after stopping, the drain screw at the bottom of the pump body needs to be unscrewed to drain the medium. Prevent freezing and cracking.
(15) If the clean water centrifugal pump is out of service for a long time, the pump must be completely disassembled, the water must be wiped off, the rotating parts and joints must be greased, and the pump must be properly stored.
